Lloyd: The Lone Wanderer
Från en pojke i en film från 2001, med tagline "Do You Believe In Magic?" (vilket inte har så värst mycket att göra med filmen i övrigt) kommer en rad dikter. Pojken, numera en man, heter Lloyd och skriver följande hjärtekrossande rader dikt till oss. För att förstå honom och för att lätta på sitt hjärta.
Prolog:
"Do you believe in magic?
That became my tagline. When everything was broken that line from the pasy was all taht kept me intact and sane. As I spread that sentence around to everyone I met, from my past good times, I hopes I'd elightened those who shared the words of wisdom with.
I mean, what else was left for me?"
Alla dikter:
"In the dark alleys I am to wander for the rest of my days,
I hope I'll find magic again,
in the most wonderful of ways."
"The navel contains something in us all,
that's what my friend said, long before our fall.
I'm searching for something dear, my dear friend,
maybe I'll find it in the navel in the end?"
"I used to look like a cricket,
a not so charmingly looking one,
since then many things this man has done,
things I've lost,
things I've won,
my magic is forever gone."
"Magic is what I've always known,
it was personal, something of my own.
It was exciting, the best of action!
Now nothing's left, not even a mere fraction.

Magic, oh how I miss you so!"
"I lived for the days, for human wonders,
then I saw magic, my life saw thunders!
The ordinary was no longer enough,
my strive for grasping magic was ever so tough.
But when getting it in my hands,
I could not meet up to the heavy demands.
My magic decided to depart from me,
Sorry, I guess I wasn't the best devotee."
"Magic always had a place in my heart,
since my birth, all from the start.
I found me through my curious mind,
I could see all that laid behind.
A world where mortal me could be happier than many,
but I ended up not getting any.
Life can be cruel to us people so small,
I miss magic, oh, how I miss it all!"
"I always thought I looked like a cricket,
to the handsomes' world I'd never get a ticket.
Then my mentor showed me magic,
a meeting that would end up tragic!
He gave a gift so precious to me,
but I got stripped of it, what cruel destiny!
He went to Vegas on his own grand show,
left me alone in the dark.. where did my magic go?"
"As true it is that I've grown into a man,
someone quite stable, why steady!
My mind never could, will or can,
for this departure get ready.
I cannot forget what sweet I've tasted,
I feel like I'm living someone else's life,
all these years that I've wasted.
Oh, magic, please her my strife!
I need you now more than ever,
come back to me and leave me never!"
"Why can't I be happy too?
What in this life is really true?
I was kicked out, stomped on and beaten,
for that I believe that magic exists in me.
My soul was almost completely eaten,
why, mom, can't you my magic see?
I'm not crazy, I can assure,
to magic there is no cure!
That's why I'm to wander these streets forever,
I was never as happy as then not now, not ever!"

- Cosplay (japanska コスプレ, kosupure, från costume play) är en japansk form av maskerad. I Japan innefattar det all sorts kostymering, från medeltid till framtid. I väst används begreppet främst om karaktärer med ursprung i japansk populärkultur.
- Cosplay kan sägas vara animens och mangans motsvarighet till hängivna Trekkies och Tolkienanhängare. Genom att sy en dräkt efter en karaktär som man tycker om och sedan bära den till ett konvent visar man sin uppskattning. Målet är att porträttera karaktären så gott man kan.
Med denna definition klargjord ska jag i två delar visa er de mest pinsamma cosplayförsöken jag hittat.
